Dear Members of the Electoral Commission, 

I am aware your terms of reference specify that you do not have to adhere to the boundary between the four Dublin Local Authorities. However, I believe this detrimentally impacts those pockets of people who find themselves in one local authority area, but represented by a TD who predominantly represents an area serviced by a different local authority. Examples of this can be found along the Dublin City Council and Fingal County Council border. I believe the Electoral Commission should look to enhance and streamline political representation. Adhering to the Local Authority boundaries would enable this when revising or devising new constituencies.
