                               I am writing in relation to Dáil and European Parliament Constituency Review. I live in Johnstown, Collinstown, Co. Westmeath and our Dail constituency is currently Meath West. I would like to see our area be returned under the Longford/Westmeath Dail constituency. I know one of the factors you are reviewing is that the breaching of county boundaries should be avoided as far as practicable. Having our area of Westmeath split into another constituency makes it feel that we are falling between two areas and not part of either. Our local services are through Westmeath County Council but we have to contact TDs largely based in Meath for national level queries. We would have better accountability with TDs if we returned as part of the Longford/Westmeath constituency.
