Hello,

Rather than increasing the number of TD’s elected to the Dail, there should instead be a constitutional referendum to actually reduce their number.

This would bring Ireland into line with for example New Zealand, a country with a strong democratic tradition and a population similar to ours, with comparable geographic challenges and are served adequately by 120 MPs in a single chamber House of Representatives.
