As a current sitting TD in County Wexford, I strongly believe that as part of any boundary review County Wexford boundaries should be respected, and no adjustments made to include parts of other counties or exclude parts of the current County Wexford.

Should an additional seat be approved for County Wexford it should consist of two three-seater constituencies split north/south of the county and not east/west, as this is what the Wexford electorate have traditionally known as their local areas that they are connected to. Voter engagement needs to be nurtured, so as the electorate will not lose the connection with their local representative.
