I’m not sure if this is the correct place to submit a general view on the new Dail Constituencies.

I live in Drumcondra and for the last few elections voting in Dublin North West. This is a three seat constituency. Dublin Bay North has five seats. I suggest that Dublin North West be made into four seats by taking some of the Dublin Bay North area.

The increase in population in these areas should facilitate four and five seat constituencies. THERE SHOULD BE NO THREE SEAT CONSTITUENCIES IN DUBLIN. Dublin Central is probably due an extra seat. We used to be in Dublin North Central.

In general Ireland should have more four, five and six seat constituencies. It is better for the democratic process and was the norm in the 40’s and the 50’s. More democratic all round. 

Please give us more four and five seat constituencies
