St Finian’s GAA Club is Newcastle’s GAA Club. We are a thriving club in a rapidly growing area.

Many of our members are local to Newcastle but we have players from as far away as Brittas. That is because we view our catchment area as the 4 Districts of Newcastle, Rathcoole, Saggart and Brittas.

Most of our children attend the post-primary school in Rathcoole which is our local secondary school.

Newcastle will shortly benefit from a new orbital bus route which will mean improved public transportation links between us and Rathcoole and Saggart. This will further strengthen ties within the community of the 4 Districts.

We would ask that, to preserve and protect the community spirit in our area, that the 4 Districts be kept together within the same constituency boundary of Dublin Mid West.
