To the Commission,

We live in the Swords electoral area . We are concerned that Swords may be divided for electoral purposes as was the case in 2011 when residents on the southern side of Brackenstown road ie Rivervalley, Boroimhe ,Ridgewood and many more rural areas of Swords were lumped into Dublin West .

That move totally disenfranchised residents from those areas from voting for their representative’s who they had known for years.

It took major representations to reverse this decision.

We contend that Swords remains as one area in Fingal County as is not divided and that the electorate of Swords continues to have connections to both our locally elected councillors and T.D’s .
