I believe the ratio of TD’s to the population is set too low on the population side. It may not be part of this review but I would like the commission to comment on it and seek a referendum to have the 30,000 limit for one TD increased considerably therefore reducing the number of TD’s.

In relation to the constituency review should Carlow / Kilkenny be oversubscribed under the current arrangement it is essential that Carlow, as the smaller county, does not lose any of its boundary’s to another constituency.
